change purse, a card and a dishcloth

a vinyl change purse i made to match the checkbook cover i had made last week. i had to take this semester off from school forcing me to live at home in suburban ct, hence the recent obsession with skyline imagery (i go to school in philadelphia). anyways, the turquoise fabric i used for the skyline on this is my favorite fabric ever, it's vintage and i got it a while ago on ebay. i only have a few scraps left though, : [

i found the paper the skyline is cut out of on a whim at joanns. i had no idea what to do with it, so i used it for a little card! this picture isn't that great but the main color of the card is light blue, the outline of the city is bright red, and the city is outlined with scribbly lines i just did with a thin tipped pen.

knitted dishcloths, which are fun to make AND helpful to the environment - you can just wash them when they get kind of grungy and reuse them, instead of having to buy tons of sponges.
