Earthy jewels...
Feb. 22nd, 2006 12:26 amThis is the bracelet I made as part of a swap with
liebschien! (If you are she and would rather be surprised, better not click! :D)

Wire, with beads of pewter/some kind of silvery metal, wood, stone, and glass. The pretty square-ish ones are brown bottle glass colored on one side, with a greenish shine to them on the other side.
She wanted earthy tones, sage green, brown, and black, and wanted it to be a bangly charm bracelet. I used some imagination and had fun with it...!
liebschien, if you're looking, I hope you like it!
Also, here's a pair of earrings I made last weekend - my first ever commissioned jewelry! :D

2 requests for jewelry in earth tones, one right after the next - These earrings could be the bracelet's sisters! :D
I name every jewelry creation I create, and the friend of mine who commissioned these for a girl said he wanted her name worked into the title somehow. Her name is Eva, so these are called "Shine 4Eva!" Shine how long? For-eva! ... **hears the collective groan of the craftgrrls** heh... ^_^;;
I'm really pleased with how they came out, and so was my friend and the lady he bought them for. :)
Enjoy! :D
