shipping glass and liquids
Feb. 23rd, 2006 02:20 pmi dont know where else to ask this... I need to ship things for a craft swap I am in.. but I need to find the best way to ensure nothing will break or leak...
I'm making infused vodka.. and I need to ship it.. I have a bottle I got from Micheals.. It's a heavier glass bottle with a cork top... I couldnt find any pretty clear bottles around that have screw tops... sooo what would be the best way to seal this? I'm going to pound the cork in the bottle really good so it will be tight, but I dunno if this is enough to last through the chaos that is the USPS.
Also, I have martini glasses.. I dont have the original box and the cardboard dividers it came with.. I'm scared it'll get broken.. Anything I could do to cushion them besides wrapping with loads of tissue paper and newspaper?
Thanks!
