First things first: I have a substantial amount of a vintage 1980s character-print cotton, except that I really have no idea what the character is. I'm 95% certain he's from Strawberry Shortcake, but I never watched the show that much as a kid and I've completely missed the boat as far as its recent popularity goes -- but that little pink kitty looks mighty familiar. And I though you nice folks could help me out.You guys rock! It's Huckleberry Pie and lil' Custard!

I got a fantastic deal on a whole bunch of Czech glass beads (and I'm certain a lot of them are vintage!) and so
of course I had to spend the rest of the night playing with them. How could I not? I haven't made any earrings in a while, but I'm in love with this batch. This is the first set of earrings I've ever made that I seriously wanted to eat. They look like candy! Yum!

It was also a lesson is just how poorly things photograph on an eye-searing-green houndstooth background, but I'm in love with that, too, so it stays. Bear with me, people. I wanted you all to see it because it was a fantastic deal as well, (honest-to-goodness 1970s polyester ~ 7 yards for
two dollars!) and now I'm up to my ears in the stuff. I've got a couple of ideas for what to do with it, but I'd love to hear what you think. What should I do with it?

It wouldn't be complete without showin' off the latest batch of cuffs, hot off the sewin' machine. I'm on a definite kick with the orange/red thing, but I like it!
And of course feel free to add me as a buddy, or just stop by to say Hi!
I love makin' new friends.
