moon yellow and bright.
Feb. 27th, 2006 10:38 pmcollege yields very little craft time, as i'm sure all or most of you know, but i found a few hours this evening to make another brooch.
(i've also been working on my first knitting project, just a simple scarf, but it isn't complete yet.)

the inspiration for this came from a mountain goats song, "international small arms traffic blues," in which he sings our love is like the border between greece and albania. if you knew that without the explanation, i want to hug you so bad.
this one was different from my others in that it's three layers against the regular two. the stitching on the front of the brooch was "traced over," if you will, to attach the back piece with the pin on in. it was very tedious, but i'm happy with the outcome.
i hope you like it. :D.
