Current projects update
Jan. 10th, 2003 10:22 amJust because I want to comment on it somewhere!
* Finished a 4-strand single-crochet blanket I've been working on for a while. It's big, it's *heavy*, and it's at work for when I get cold. It got put aside several times in the last several months for other projects or just general laziness. After finishing up the rush of Christmas gifts, I determined I would pick it up and complete it before proceeding any further. Now that it's done, I can do that!
* Still plodding along on my first knit sweater. It's a very simple pattern, worsted weight yarn on U.S.:7 needles--ribbing on the top and bottom, and a long swath of stockinette stitch in between. Front and back are identical pieces, and two long sleeves. I'm about 12" of 19" (bottom to armhole; yes, I'm very tall :) into the body of the first piece. It's taking foreeeeeeever.
* A small Gold Collection cross-stitch of a lighthouse--partially done, but probably will be alternated with sweater making.
I have a few more projects waiting in the wing, most cohesively the Scarf that Wouldn't End, and more soapcrafting ideas are bouncing around undone in my head...
