vaginal notecards
Mar. 2nd, 2006 01:55 amI made these this evening to be sold at our performance of "The Vagina Monologues" in northern Virginia this weekend. This is my first attempt at making cards that aren't going directly to friends, so feedback is appreciated.

Shouldn't we all?

Mmm, vaginas.
They're all hand-stamped, cut and assembled by yours truly. Given that, and given that all the proceeds will be going to end violence against women, would you all say that $2 for a card and envelope is fair? I know they're a bit simple (especially since if I'd had my druthers, I would have been able to at least put some ribbon on them in various places, but it would have taken forever for the volume I'm making), but I've seen crafters selling cards for that much that were simply a piece of patterned paper cut from those mini stacks to cover the front of a plain white card, and then were going for $2.
Also, does anyone else have any ideas for short (hand-stamped, people), women-centered saying for the fronts? I'm going to be making more tomorrow, if so.
Lastly, any ideas for easier punching of a corner rounder? My thumb has a bruise from doing it repeatedly tonight, and I need to either suck it up or find another stable way to do it. I'd clearly prefer the latter.
Thanks in advance!
