iron-on help part deux

hello crafty ladies and gents! one more question for you, based on this post.


but first, thanks to dancin_sister_t; that website was great and i found exactly what i wanted!

unfortunately, it's extremely difficult to find an iron-on heart. i was thinking of getting the Heat n'Bond stuff suggested and just cutting a heart out of fabric.

my question is: what kind of fabric or medium do you folks suggest for this?? i looked all over and can't find an iron-on heart. obviously, i don't want it to fray or come off but i don't sew. at all.

EDIT: i should also mention that i've never stenciled before and i'm not really looking to start with this particular project!

please help!
