New Pink Cord Tote!

Today was surprisingly sunny and warm, so I got to go outside and take a picture the day I actually finished making it

The very big pocket - i usually make my pockets too small, so I overcompensated with this one, but I like the size :-)

Closer to the actual colors and a bit of a close up

the "idea" i based it off of - i loved tracing my shadow on the driveway and the fence as a kid with chalk, who didn't?
The bag is corduroy, the lining is a woven cotton/poly blend, the heart pieces are actually ribbon sewn together to make the strap and the background for the ladies.. i put heavy interfacing behind the ribbons so they would stay together better and keep my ladies from getting too bent
my ladies were a pain in the ass to do.. searched for literally hours for the "right pictures" online (b/c i tried to draw my own and failed miserably), traced it in photoshop, printed it out, copied it to the paper on the heat n bond... bonded to felt... cut out the ladies and ironed onto the ribbons - quite the process
