okay so you can pretty much make a gazillion things out of records. luckily my boyfriend owned a record store and i have lots and lots of them to quench my crafty thirst. lol
rose petals from valentines day ^_^ with burgundy spray paint
my fave silver one spray painted after melting process lol
the yellow one is a ramones record that was unplayable
close up of picture frame//me+my love
i melted this record on a cookie sheet & when it was ready i took a tong and bent the edges in and hot glued the picture in the middle. i had to resize it a bit of course. i wraped string along the inside and glued it to the backside and hung it up with two tacks
a collage i made with clippings that i had had for almost three years now!! talk about pack rat!! ahaha
i bought some awesome chalkboard contact paper at salvation army for 75cents and took a huge piece of cardboard and made a chalk board for my kitchen it's so handy!
my boyfriend also has a record label. tor johnson records so i made him this shirt. its my first time using the glue method im slowly weaning myself off of stencil method and i kinda like it.
some magnets i made, i just got into making magnets and its so addicting!!
i have a part time job at blockbuster and the black frame thing in this picture was for the countertop where we check the movies out but we got new ones *there was a picture inside of it the one of the blockbuster hampster and guinea pig who talk* anyways so i took this awesome cliping from a local zine and i glued it to some aluminum foil and stuffed it inside the plastic part. put like six magnets on the back and stuck it on my fridge. i love how it looks. sorry the pic is a lil blurry tho.
last but not least i put up some handpainted ornaments on the ceiling in my living room they were plain white and ugly and were begging to be put out of their misery lol it was hard to get pics of them.
