New to Polymer Clay
Mar. 17th, 2006 02:18 amI haven't posted here in a long long time. I am posting here today to get some opinions from those of you who use polymer clay.
I have some training and talent in ceramics, but right now it's not possible for me to work in ceramics, so I have been thinking about polymer clay. How well will my ceramics skills translate? Of course there will be differences, I know, but am I going to be able to do a lot of the same things? I am not a fan of the wheel, preferring more organic and sculptural approaches to clay, so throwing is not an issue.
I'd also love to hear what brands/types of clay you like best, and why.
