question for the potters
Mar. 17th, 2006 03:22 pmThis question is for potters (don't know if there are any here!):
For those of you who own a potter's wheel, do you also own a kiln? I know there are some small ones that okay for home use. If you don't have a kiln at home, how do you "fire" your pieces or maybe you don't?
I have taken classes at a ceramics studio, but the cost and inconvenience are starting to become a drag. I'd love to just get down and dirty at home.
Thanks for any insight!
