Jan. 12th, 2003 09:45 pmRubber stamps are super easy to make with a set of carving tools (I know they have them at Michael's) and the relatively cheap raw stamp materials. You can do them out of erasers or other things too, but I really like the stamp rubber the best and it's not that expensive. Anyway, they're great because they can be used for a ton of different projects later. I made a giraffe stamp (no picture yet) for my roommate's Christmas present of giraffe stationary. I printed the giraffe with gold ink on the corner of each piece of paper, and then made envelopes using a tiny stamp of her initials. Anyway, I do have pictures of two I made for myself.
This was originally meant to be Conor Oberst from Bright Eyes and i was going to give it to a friend, but he turned out a little different and i really wanted to keep him for myself.
