I'm really proud of how my March swap for

full_moon_swaps turned out, so I wanted to share it now that I finally have pictures up. Sadly I couldn't get better pictures before I mailed it, but I'm hoping that the girl I sent it to will have better pictures for me some time soon. XD Until, I figured I'd share these. The theme was, basically, mystical creatures. I made a 'spice rack' with special 'ingredients' that went on it. Hand painted a 'towel rack' with acrylic paints, then laquered the whole thing. I think it turned out pretty well, all in all.

A bit closer detail of the front. Not very easy to see AT ALL. ;-; It's more detailed than it looks.

That's one side. The vines on the other side were different, and I KNOW I got a picture, but I can't find it now. Sad panda.

There's the whole thing with the 'ingredients' on it. Still not the best images, but you get the idea.

Basically it was an 'alchemical spice rack' or something like that. One bottle had faux pearls, and had a homemade label saying "mermaid tears". Another had glitter and tiny beads in blue & white and said "fairy dust" on the label. Another had softy white curly fluffy hair in the jar, and said "unicorn mane and tail hair" on the label. The last had pretty red feathers that went from a deep shade to a bright shade, and said "phoenix feathers" on the label.

It was my first swap, and honestly my first big crafting/painting project as all I've really done otherwise has been a smidge of skuply work and a LOT of sewing/costuming which doesn't at all count as the same thing to me. I'm super super proud of it. ^^() Please let me know what you think, everyone!

And hopefully I'll be sharing my craft for the next swap (April) with all of you when I finish, if I can actually figure something out for the theme!!! *pulls out her hair*
