Hello Kitty Aprons
Mar. 28th, 2006 07:56 pmI've been sewing up a storm lately! I've made 2 aprons in two weeks. Finally finding a use for some adorable Hello Kitty fabric I picked up a year or two ago. The blue one of them is cute and servicable and taught me some good lessons about how to put on piping, and the pink one is just ridiculously frilly-- but they're both full of Sanrio goodness, and so they will soon be hanging up in my kitchen for decoration when they're not in use :)
*please forgive the poor lighting in these photos, this apartment has lighting like a vampire cave, seriously!
How cute is this, seriously?

It even ties in a sweet little bow in the back.

It was completely worth figuring out how to put the pink piping on, because I think we can all agree that it just *makes it*.

And here it is, posing for its own separate glamour shot in front of my sewing machine :D

I absolutely love this one! So pink! So pretty!

Ribbons *and* bows in the back-- I used a pink Hello Kitty print ribbon.

Just a ridiculous amount of frills! Hey-- I never said I wasn't a girly-girl.

And here they both are, posing on my sewing table.
