lots of bracelets... and my very own lightbox!

I bought a bunch of bracelet memory wire on a whim, since I hadn't worked with the stuff since seventh grade or so. I forgot how much fun it is!






There's nine of 'em total, waiting to have their glamour shots taken...


...in my brand new ghetto as hell lightbox! I'm a herpetophile, too, so I used some old full-spectrum flourescent lights and an frame I rigged up from old 1x2 boards, some white jersey to diffuse the light and a handful of cable ties to hold the whole thing together.


AND VOILA!
The picture had to be off-center, or else the light filter on the camera would go all kinds of crazy. It's not perfect --I think some of the bulbs need to be replaced so that the lighting hues are more consistent-- but I can take product photos at night now, when I'm actually awake! Yippee!
