i have a question... i recently found some vintage sewing patterns at a thrift store for childrens clothing. if i want to sew them and sell them do i have to cite the pattern? do i have to say somewhere (for example), that this is a buttrick or simplicity pattern from the 50's? or something like that? i dont want to say i designed them i just want to make and sell them, but i dont want to get into any trouble or do anything unethical? do you think id need to get permission to sell the clothing if i didnt make the pattern?
any advice appreciated...thanks, betsy
p.s.
where can i find stuffed animal patterns for this same purpose? any ideas?
