Adventures in mohawk land :-D
Apr. 9th, 2006 12:05 am:P
Soooo I have been working for about a week on this, and its not my original idea, buts its still neat :D
So I saw one of these on ebay (only it was different, lighter and more girly :P) and I was like thats so cute! But all the girls that do DIY mostly make things in a size sm/m, and as your about to see, i'm a fat lump and that just won't do!
Sooo here is my attempt at a totally prissified (Priss being me) mohawk hoodie :D

I am working on a white one with blue fur for my cousin :D
Sooo since I dunno what to think comments would be lovely :D
Oh and heres instructions since a few of them wanted them:
I went to the store (I think k-mart) and got a "summer hoodie" cause they are thin and I can wear it through the summer. It was like seventeen or eighteen dollars, so its not too bad. Then I went to walmart and bought a yard of monsttteeer fur (its around $8 a yard). I cut a strip as fat as I wanted it and sewed it on the top of the hood. :P I did the same on the cuffs. I put some basic zigzag stiched on the pockets cause they were so plain. Then all I did was buy some avery brand t-shirt transfers for dark colors (like $13 for a 5 pack at office max, not bad) and I printed the Paul Frank Skurvy logo and followed the directions on the transfer package! Voila! It was a bit of work but it was relitivly simple :D
And I am working on something really neat I will probably post in a week or so!
You guys rock!
