hopefully someone can help me :D let me know if this isn't allowed!

i have this really pretty parasol i bought at a thrift store. its one of those pin-up looking retro paper-ish sun umbrellas, with a flowery/asian-ish print. i'd really, really like to incorporate the parasol into my display, but i don't know how? i want it to be used, kind of like an umbrella over my jewelry (outdoor event, but we have a canopy) but i don't know what to use to make it stand or how to do that? any ideas ?

thanks in advance for any input. i'll try and take a picture of it if i can, but i just really need help on getting it set up onto my table. thanks so much in advance!
