I’ve sewn my first ever item. It wasn’t the cheapest practice project and it took me about two days because I had to keep unstitching! It ended up a bit too stiff; I think I used an interfacing that was far too heavy, now I wish I’d just left it floppy! I’m a perfectionist so some of the stitching on this [see one of the pics] is really aggravating me, but I am not unstitching this damn thing ever again! Despite that, I can’t wait to get started on my next project :D

Any feedback or your opinions would be very much appreciated.

as you can see from my stitching, lots of practice needed. but i think this, being the first time i’ve ever used a sewing machine, was an ok sort of start.
