craftgrrlso i found myself with some time to kill and about a billion craft projects on the go, but i wasn't in the mood for finishing anything (cause most of them will take a few days) so i thought i'd start something new. I got a soy candle kits off of ebay, and i decided to have a go at making my own candles.
I used two wanna be brandy snifters that i got at the dollar store. They are vanilla cookie scented.
this is what they looked like directly after pouring the wax into the snifters.
20 minutes into the setting process

an hour into the setting process, the color won't change from this point on.

you can see that i spilled the wax a little bit but it should be easy to clean up. and if not, well the candles are for in the bedroom and i don't suppose much attentions going to be paid to the bottoms of them.
