Lampshades anyone?

craftgrrlHas anyone tried to dye lamp shades? I have some great silver lamps that would look great with brown shades instead of white. I'm not sure what kind of material they are but they aren't the plastic lined ones so I think that might help.
Anyway if anyone has any ideas or thoughts let me know.
