Just recently joined the community, so I thought by way of introduction I should post a few crafty things I've done recently. ^^



Necklace made from the inside of a floppy disk.



In action. ^^ I have a whole box of floppy disks I'll never use, since my computer doesn't have a floppy disk drive anyway. I need to come up with some more interesting things to do with them.



My box I am nearly finished with. I'm making it specifically to hold all my Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab oils. The outside is pretty much done. Mod Podged pages from old Archie digests on the side, and on the top are some cut outs from a book of old fruit crate label images. I specifically selected ones of women looking pretty, cause you know, perfumes and all, they make me feel pretty. :D Also a fabric flower, cause I saw the tutorial for it on err Craftster, I think, and felt like trying it out. I modified it a bit. Didn't come out spectacular, but eh. Also, BPAL cut out from paper and pasted on. And the lid is lined in a pretty satiny pink fabric with lace.

Inside of the box. Right now it's holding bits of an old calendar, but I want to put a block of high-density foam in the bottom, with little holes cut in it to hold the bottles of oils. And I want to line the wood with something, but I'm not sure what..



And because I was having fun with the Mod Podge.. a couple wooden tag thingies with panels from Archie comics on them. I'm thinking of making them into necklaces, or keychains or something. If you can't read it, Veronica is saying "WAH! The world is a cruel, unjust place!" *lol*
