I just completed our niece's birthday gift. She turned 4, like 3 weeks ago. I'm such a procrastinator.
She is all the way across the country, so at least we didn't have to face her!



Her name is Ellie.
Here she is sucking on a sucker. (And there's my chicken doing the same. I don't know whose crotch that is.)





Okay, so her name is Ellie and she is sweet and she is girlie and she likes pink and purple and her mom says that she really needs a purse. For all her wordly possessions no doubt. I remember how important a good bag was when I was a kiddo, so I wanted to make it cute.

And this is what I did:










I made a small zipper purse and along with a small zippered wrislet, this in case it's just her hello kitty lipgloss and a barbie doll's head

I used denim, craft felt, embroidery thread, interfacing, and a light twill lining.

I think they look pretty cute and hope she'll really like them!
