my first jewelry-making attempts
May. 11th, 2006 06:02 pmI went to a bead store last weekend (three times, mind you) and stocked up on quite a bit of jewelry-making supplies, and here's what I managed to turn out on my first attempts. I still need to trim a few wires here & there, but considering I really had no idea what I was doing, I think they came out okay. :)

Quartz & Flowers, the very first one I ever made.

More Quartz, this one I need to re-string though because it came out too small even for me.

Swarovski crystals, clear rondelles, and red gems. I have a bit of a thing for stars.

See? More stars! And more rondelles!

Rondelles, quartz, & glass beads.
Any advice? Glaring mistakes? Yays? Boos? I'd love to hear 'em. I have a basic bead-stringing class I'm going to on the 20th so I'm trying to keep myself out of the bead store until then, but it's a very, very hard thing to do as I'm already addicted!
