And what you've all been waiting for, the free handspun...
This is 84m or 92 yards, made for Lollygirl's Project Spectrum, of hand-dyed, hand-spun merino sliver, ranging in colour from a dark, swampy green to a bright, springy lime green with a splash of yellow and purple for good measure.
How do you get it? Head on over to my blog and leave a comment. You will get two entries into the draw if you leave a joke as your comment.
fruits of my wheel. Wait, that doesn't sound right...
Anyway, this first yarn is hand-dyed merino, spun thick and thin.

This yarn is made of hand blended mystery blend (I want to say coopworth, but I can't remember), spun with a technique I've heard called super coil, but I like to call 'bugger, I've overspun! Nah, just kidding I did it deliberately!'

In case you were wondering, this is what it looked like before I blended it. I call this yarn 'Terrible, menacing clown nightmares' after my friend Karen who, funnily enough, has a clown phobia.

This is hand processed alpaca (the black) spun with undyed commercially prepared merino. Alpaca is easily my favourite fibre, even though my dog likes to eat it.
I'm working on a tutorial of how I process my alpaca fleeces, if you're interested, comment and I'll post it to this comm once I'm done.
