[identity profile] la-periwinkle.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] craftgrrl
Recently I have acame across [livejournal.com profile] gasouthard on her bunnies project on The Bunny Project and that got me excited in making my own bunies. However I know nothing about sewing as I have not touched any needle and thread after my Home Economics in my High School. I have bought all the materials needed to start this project but still faced the following problem. I hope some kind souls are there can enlighten me:-

1. The pattern comes in a large sheet as there are 3 kinds of plush toy pattern on it. Should I cut out the patterns which I need for easier handling?

2. I have bought the Tracing Carbon Paper (it comes in yellow and white) and the fabric which I have purchased is those soft fur kinda fabric which on the wrong side feels quite smooth. I tried to transfer the image using the 'wheeler' (if that's what you call) but nothing will appear on the wrong side of the fabric. Is there any way which I can do without much sweat?

3. Should I trace out all the lines on the pattern if I manage to figure out how to use the tracing carbon paper?

I have been meddling with the tracing out of pattern the whole afternoon but can't seem to get it done. The pattern sheet is getting thinner as I keep using the 'wheeler' to go over the pattern again and again. What should i do? I would never get the bunnies make in time to present to my friend as her baby shower's gift. Any help will be much appreciated.
