World's easiest skirt!
May. 12th, 2006 08:58 pmHere's my take on a sari skirt:

I still need to hem the cut edge so it doesn't fray. It was a bolt end from Wal-Mart (only place to buy fabric other than quilting fabric here) so I only have to hem one side too. :-)
It is wrapped leaving about a foot loose during the first wrapping, then tying that to the final end if that makes any sense. It is very secure, I just walked a couple miles in it to the store and back, although a bit restricting to walk in. Have to look into other wrapping methods.
Just an idea for anyone looking for something super easy and light for summer!
