*sighs* *makes some tea*
Jan. 26th, 2003 09:40 amMorning has come.
The blind rage and the hard-to-supress urge to jam the crochet needles into somebody's eye (preferribly mine) has faded to a dull twitch.
I have, indeed, learned how to make the starting chain (thank you all).
I do, indeed, apologize for the incredible amount of swears in that post... if anyone has stress-relieving tips for use during the craft-making process, you should make a book and sell it, I'd be buyin'.
But now, although I am calmer in the light of day, a new problem arises:
Turning the chain.
I practiced the chain all nite. It looks fabulous. It is a fabulous lil' chain. But that's ALL it is and when I try to do the "turning the chain" stitches, it makes a bit knot-ball. Is there something off about the tension in my chain or...??? I dunno... anybody got any pointers?
I'm.going.to.learn.this.if.it.kills.me.
