I just signed up the other day for Freecycle. And there was a post on there today from a lady giving away fabric. I emailed her and she responded. I went to her house, and she had PILES and PILES of fabric! Seriously! Her mother was a seamstress and she recently passed away. I would've loved to have it all.... but she asked that you only take a bag or two full, so that others could share the wealth. So, I picked out my favorites - 2 bags full! Some of it is maybe a 1/2 yard to a yard... some just snippets. But 3 or 4 of them are like 3+ yards! SCORE!

And the other day, I was helping my mom and grandmother clean out the attic and I found a bag of clothes from the 70's. It is very tacky for clothes... but would make some awesome purses or coin pouches!

Now, I just need a working sewing machine and I need to learn to sew something other than pillows and curtains! LMAO! My daughter picked out a few she liked so that I can make her some Barbie clothes. IF I can! :)

And now...... feast your eyes upon the fabric-gasm!

I LOVE this fabric I LOVE this fabric
I think I want to make a purse out these 2 fabrics, the patterned one outside and the green inside. The patterned fabric is a corduroy fabric, the green is a soft cotton blend.

I am going to cut these up and make stuff out of them. They were too funky to throw away! :)
