Jeans for Alternative Education

craftgrrlI'm participating in a youth event sponsored by Levi's, and as part of the event, all us booth people are given a pair of jeans to customize into a signboard for our booth.
My booth is about alternative education (learning beyond traditional schooling) and is named "The Educated Deviants". My idea was to make pockets (kinda like cargo pants) and fill them up with things related to my booth.
I have less than a week, a very low budget, and I'm not particularly skilled at sewing (though mum's agreed to help). What else can I do with those jeans?
