WIP: Crocheted TaruTaru (FFXI)

craftgrrlI saw a post over on the Allakhazam FFXI forums about a girl who crocheted a TaruTaru in full WHM (white mage) AF1 (artifact armor 1). This is from the game Final Fantasy XI: Online..
Anyway, I wanted to take on a similar project, so using the FFXI ModelViewer, I was able to take screencaps of my own character dressed in full BLM (Black Mage) AF, since that's the type of character I play in the game. I'm just sorta winging it and jotting down notes so that arms and legs will come out identitical. So far, I've completed her right arm:
Definitely a long-term work in progress, since there's no pattern. I'm hoping I'll be able to make the crocheted version even half as cute as my real character:
