Help?

Hey. So I went to a show a while ago and I got the band to sign the back of my shirt in sharpie. I've done sharpie on shirts before, and I can never remember how to wash them so that the sharpie doesn't smudge/blurr. Can you guys help me? How do you was the shirt and keep the sharpie unsmudged?

So i made costumes for The Miser last year. I havent taken pictures of any of my more recent works, so this is what i've got.
