Little Crafts Cuff Tutorial Added!!!
Jun. 5th, 2006 03:25 pmI didn't want to work on any huge projects today being I'm not feeling all that great so I came up with this stuff.

White vinyl cuff with heart cut outs and pink and red glitter vinyl under the cut outs.

Ok, this is a very simple cuff.

First you need to cut a piece of vinyl to fit your wrist. For a 2 inch wide cuff use the following. Measure your wrist, add two inches. The width will be 4 inches. You will end up with a rectangle which is 4inches by the size of your wrist plus two.
Take that piece of vinyl and fold up the ends like the image. The light grey will be folded into the dark grey. This is to figure out where you can cut for the holes. Draw the shapes you want on the back of your vinyl and cut them out. *the ovals* Get some other vinyl and sew it to the wrist piece. I just used little scraps. A teflon foot comes in handy here.
After you finish sewing around the shapes you will need to fold over the edges again and sew up the sides.
I then punched holes where you see the little white dots and attached snaps. I know a lot of people have trouble with snaps but I found on vinyl they work pretty well.
That should about do it. If you want you can turn the edges and sew where the snaps go to give it more of a finished look.
Enjoy!

I made the laptop pouch a while back but I just made the camera bag to match it. Sorry about the bright pink, it really mess with my camera.
sorry about the tag
