Tea Towel Bag
Jun. 12th, 2006 05:41 pmThis is my first post, but I am not a first time crafter!
I started knitting but gave it up early on. Then I started crochet, then cross-stitch and, finally, my mum got me a sewing machine about two years ago, which is my pride and joy.
Without further ado, my latest creation:

This was a tea towel (or kitchen towel) I bought from a chinese thrift store. I really liked the pattern and so I made this bag which is just large enough for a few basic essentials - a purse, keys, paper tissues... The size of the towel didn't allow for anything much bigger, unless I got a different cloth for the inside, which I didn't.
