knit & crochet & sewn fo's!
Jun. 19th, 2006 10:31 ami've finished a couple of things this week!

knit with US size 5 needles and some cotton-acrylic blend yarn i had leftover; this wrist rest is for my sister. made using this pattern, except that instead of using cardboard and stuffing, i sewed a pillow with scrap fabric and filled it with flax seeds, then put that as the stuffing instead.

i actually knit this dishcloth a while back, but still have not woven in the ends! i knit it using this pattern.

in exchange for a lovely vintage yellow fondue set i received, i made & mailed this package out to mohawk from glitter. it includes a knit hat, using bernat galaxy in 'moon', a crocheted choker using light&lofty yarn, and a pair of brown earrings from the philippine islands.

i'm having fun making chokers; they work up so quick! this one is crocheted with wool/acrylic yarns and features a cherry dangling from a brown choker.

another swap package i made & sent out, with a totebag that has a crocheted "milk" bottle applique, and a notebook i got at a japanese dollar store in san francisco which i decorated with a fabric bowl, and eggs & flour being poured into the bowl.
