Hey! So, I rarely post, but I thought better late then never. For some reason the good weather makes me more productive. I have a wallet, an apron, some jewlry, and a change purse to show off. Warning, though, it's pretty photo heavy :-)

First, heres a change purse I made using heavy duty vinyl and a sublime stitching pattern. It was the perfect project to bring on a road trip to San Fransisco. I'm not too happy on how the zipper turned out. I ended up giving this one to my mom, and I'm going to make myself a black one with cherrys.




This is a wallet that I was forced to make because my beloved hello kitty one finally fell apart. I thrifted the fabric cheap, then layerd it with clear vinyl. It was a total bitch to sew, but I like how it turned out. It's nice and skinny :-) I adapted this tuterol (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=20925.0) from craftster.

Heres some jewlry. I made these earings out of a pair of milagros I found on the aformentiond trip. They turned out pretty cute.


And a necklace made out of cloudy beads, black cord, and thin gauge wire.

Today, I was bored and rifeling through my "fix" basket where I found this huge blue '80s shirt dress that I had tryed to turn into a skinny shirt dress. It was a pretty botched adaption, so I set it aside for later. I decided that it wasn't salvagable as a dress, so I cut the skirt part off and turned it into an apron. The patch is a piece of orange printed oilcloth.
