Stretchy/Gathered fabric

Here's a simple question. Are any of you familiar with a type of fabric, that is....gathered at the top? We found some at a fabric store, and it's made for making simple sundresses/bathing suit covers (etc.). Like it's stretchy where your boobs would be. Does anyone have any idea what that type of fabric is called and where I could find more of it? I'm looking for solids, because most of the patterns I find are "too" girly.
