I've been toying with the idea of a variety of versions of the bone-handle clutch. Largely because I love the bone-handles and can't get enough of them, but also in part because I'm dry of inspiration for other bag ideas. I am switching it up, however.

I was tinkering around in the bathroom (secret code for I wandered in to the loo but forgot to put my crochet down before hand) and an idea struck me. If knitters knit in the round for garments, bags, socks, what-have-you, why don't I attempt to crochet in the round with that dusty pair of size-I circular hooks I have? Of course they're possibly the most awkward things I've held in my hand--besides, well--but when working with them, a lot of that disappears.

Let's look first at the circular hooks after I've finished pulling up loops. Let me just quickly add that, as is my nature, I've made this much more difficult on myself. I decided, long before I had the loo-inspiration, that this bag absolutely must be in tunisian knit stitch. It's just pretty, okay? Back to looking at the circular hooks in action:
