Jun. 29th, 2006 03:34 pmHere's all the crafty stuff I've done, lately.
The quick, confusing summary: d20, sheep, fox-wolf-things, fimo, a secret house inside a box of tea, origami star, Kingdom Hearts, necklaces, cushion, insomniac kit, sewing, boiling, folding, writing, really bad crayon drawings...!
First of all, I made a couple of fimo critters... They were supposed to be foxes, then at some point they looked more like wolves, and... well, I really don't know anymore.
Then... since I had a box I wasn't using, I decided to make them a house.
It's pathetic, really, but it amuses me.

You'd think this was a tea box...

But you'd be wrong!

I have no idea of what he's eating.

The "paintings" they have, hanging on the wall (the fox-wolvies love art)
came from random things I cut off an ooold gaming magazine, back from 1999 or something.
It was going to be thrown away, so I thought I should give it some use.

Chu Chu Rocket is on tv!
Why is the tv on the floor? Because I forgot about one, and only added it later. -_-

And through the window, they have a beautiful view of... uh... a Final Fantasy IX screenshot.

They even have a pool!

That doubles as a ceiling, in case it's raining.
How does the water of the pool not fall on their heads when you turn it upside down?
Maaaagic.
And with the fimo leftovers, first I was going to make a little apple and a strawberry for the fox-wolves, but then I decided to make myself a little Kingdom Hearts inspired necklace:

It's a paopu fruit. It's not the first time I made one, although this one turned out a whole lot better.
I made the other one as a valentine's gift.
Here it is:

Posted it along with more Valentine's day thingies on this post. ^_^
With two old bracelets I didn't care much for (I think they were a gift-thing from a teen magazine) and one of my brother's d20, I made this necklace:

Heh. It'll go great with my Magic The Gathering purse that I made some time ago. Yay! ^_^
Then... well, everyone's done it, but I hadn't yet, so I gave my first shot at the whole making-an-origami-star thing.

I'm proud of myself, so I have to show it off.
Even if it's just... one. All the other ones I tried are experiments gone wrong.
Finally, and this is the most recent one (I made it last week)... a little sheep cushion, for a sheep lover just as myself:

I liked it so much that I almost felt sorry to give it away. But it would be wrong to keep it. ;_;
I made another one as a birthday gift (but I forgot to take a picture of it before I wrapped the gift), for an insomniac friend.
I placed it in a box, decorated the box with a sheepy theme, saying other things like "Happy Birthday" and "Handle with care".
On the inner part of the lid, I wrote:
"Instructions:
"If you ever think
you've lost your sleep
Just take a deep breath
And count this sheep!*
*Feel free to repeat this step. Results may vary.
If symptoms persist, please consult a doctor. No sheep were harmed in the making of this sleeping kit."
Then, in the box, I threw in a photo of a bed, a 'sheepy owner's certificate' with his name and the sheep's name, and a "sleeping schedule", that from midnight to 9 am, has things like 'Sleeping' (obviously), 'Dreaming', 'Sleepwalking', 'Zzzzzz', etc. ^_^
Comments make me happy! ^_^
