I've been making band merch for my boyfriend and my roommate. They're in a band called Lethal Red and needed shirts to sell. All the places we looked into wanted at least 5 bucks a shirt, and wanted us to order at least 50-100 shirts at a time. We decided I should learn to screen print, and with some help from tutorials on LJ this are what we ended up with. We used the modpodge to block of the screen on these. I am also drying a screen now to try the photo emulsion printing today. The bottom bag is a little blurrier looking than it really is, the shirts are more accurate. The best part about making shirts with thrift store findings and printing them yourself is that you can sell them for 5 bucks at shows and actually MAKE money! I love this group! Thanks guys.
