I had this idea about buying really big men's sweaters and then tailoring them to my needs instead of finding ones that fit right. then I'd have enough left over material to make a nice scarf or something too.

So this is my first attempt. I'm happy enough to try it again.


This is the before pic. You can't see it in the pic but it actually had bits of fake leather sewn on it originally. EW! SO 80's. And not in the good way. Basically this sweater is terrible. It was my guy's in H.S. and his mom recently found it and made him take it home. So he gave it to me never suspecting...

This is the final product. I really like it. I turned it inside out and took it completely apart then cut off what I didn't like and stitched it back together. The only drawback is my inability to wear it with a bra due to the wide neckline. I don't really care much. all it means is it's time for me to learn how to make myself comfy strapless bras, right?
