Harley Quinn Costume
Jul. 11th, 2006 06:40 pmSo, I know there were some of you interested in Harley Quinn costumes..... well, they have them on Ebay now. They don't look bad, but they don't look right either... if that makes sense. I guess Harley fans have voiced the interest in having a HQ costume.
Anywho. I just wanted to keep you guys updated on my progress of my homemade HQ costume. My hubby and I decided to go as the Grusome Twosome of Joker and HQ this year. So, I wanted to make my own to make it as real as possible.
Today, I went and ordered 2 full body, long sleeved, turtleneck unitards. One in black and one in red. It cost me $70, but with the left over fabric, I can make the diamonds, the shoes, and the hood.
I do have a question though... what fabric would be best to make her ruffled wrist bands and the white collar? I was thinking felt. I also have to find LARGE white puff balls, unless I can figure out how to make them. Also... what would work best for the mask? I can't have any strings... I have to adhere it to my face.
So, my suits should be here in 3 weeks, and then it's time to go go go and make this happen!
I will keep you posted!
