MY NEW WALLET

Here's my newest wallet:


This was an old pocketbook my boyfriend got for me. I ripped off the fabric that was covering it to reveal a durable coardboard box. So I painted it in acrylics and added a coat of varnish.












I decided to rip the fabric out of the inside bc it smelled funny and was yellowing... but I had no idea what it would be like underneath. I also didn't want to ruin the pockets.


But I did it anyway and painted it all black, constructed my own pockets out of cardboard, painted fibers in to give it a neat texture and finally varnished over the entire thing.




Oh and I just wanted to show off the zipper I hand sewed onto my bag (that I had posted on here a while ago).
