Hi! I've finally joined this awesome community after stalking it for who knows how long. I think I've been watching since the awesome screen print tuorial by girlx512 went up. So, it's been a while and I've finally gotten the guts to post a project that I just finished today. I gave a set of chairs a makeover to fit into the renovations we've been doing to our basement and here are the results:

Here are the chairs before I put my hands on them. They're about 18 years old and in pretty good shape. Just really boring.

I stripped them of their varnish to prepare them for painting. In the process of painting we stumbled along Mr. Paint-Man, who now oversees all our paint jobs.

And the final results. We used micro-suede to cover the original cushions and a staple gun to secure it. I'm really happy about how they came out. For more details on the project and additional pictures, check out the gallery.
We've done a lot of crafty things to go with our basement, so I'll be sure to post more of those projects as I finish them.
Thanks for looking :)
