Ok here are some photos...I havn't posted here yet but been a part of the community for some time. The wedding is in 2 WEEKS!!! Trust me when I say we are cutting thing close. We are having an intimate ceremony in our apartment. We got the arbor yesterday and getting white and yellow tulle tomorrow to decorate it. We have floral garland as well. We also need twinkle lights (christmas light basically) to give some added luster. We have some other fake plants I plan on tieing together for something to hang from the middle of the arbor. It's going ot look very pretty here. My fiance is going to doll up a corner of the dinningroom for the cake. With tool cascading around it falling onto the table and down to the floor. Lights, the whole chabang! We are adding some meshy type curtains to each entry way in the livingroom (there are three...to the front door hallway, to the dinningroom, and to the hallway towards the bedroom. I think it will look lovely. We are having our friend preform the ceremony. And have about 10-12 more people there. Under the cut is the unity candles I made. I didn't want to spend $30 something for a set premade and settle for somethign that just wasn't us. Soooo, being that I LOVE white roses and micheals was having a bitchen sale, I made these:

HEre is all three then some detail photos:

What do you think? Only cost us about $10 total for everything including candle holders. I think it looks better then some from the stores. What a little super glue, stapels and creativity can do. My fiance really does like them. I was nervouse he would think they were too over the top or something but he got this huge smile on his face when he saw them and told me they were "beautiful". They look so much better in person I think, but hey...to get that kind of compliment is nothing short of amazing.

You all will get to see more of the decor once we start putting it all together. I have cat's so most will be done maybe a couple days before the big event to make sure they don't destroy it all.

Comments welcome and suggestions welcome for anything we can do to help make the arbor look good without spending too much money. We are seriously broke. :( Thanks guys!

I'm proud of myself. :)
