more fun with magnets

I've been busy tonight magnet making! I've always loved playing with magnets as a kid. Now I like making them just as much.

















Magnets all made from jewelry bits from a box of my grandmother's that I got when she passed away. All very interesting and pretty pieces, but nothing I could/would wear out, and some that seemed to look better hanging on a magnetic surface rather than around my neck. By the way, there were way more magnets than what I pictured here from my grandmother's box, but I got impatient taking picture after picture.



Also from my grandmother's box, a brooch I had made a few weeks ago for a friend's birthday using vintage buttons.



Magnets using wooden penguin beads from a holiday craft kit I had but didn't follow through with.



Sunflower magnets using faux flowers. I also made a guitar pick magnet out of an old Halo Friendlies pick.
