knit/crochet toys

craftgrrlI'm not up to the tiny chain crochet toys yet (I just don't have the patience for it. But I do use a combination of knitting and crochet to make toys. Saturday made a Jellyfish for my tattoo-ist, as I'm seeing him Thursday for coloring
The cap and bottom dome are crocheted rounds (so much easier and quicker) and the curly tendrils are crocheted chains, and then I knit i-cords for the yellow tendrils. The curly-ness of the fuzzy tendrils was a completely happy accidnet. The whole of this was really based on a tattoo my husband got by the same tattoo-ist.
I am so darn proud of this!
