How to attach Eyelets?

craftgrrlWell i am making a ribbon choker and i want to create an eyelet hole and attach an eyelet so you can connect it to it.
Only problem is i don't know how?
I brought an eyelet set which doesent even say how to do it. Also both sides need the eyelet bit.
Help?
