so not long ago there were these skirts on the market that i always thought were silly looking... they are fitted on top and flare out at the bottom. they tended to have 2 or 3 seems down the front and back. they kind of reminded me of upside down flowers, or lampshades.

does anyone know what these skirts are called? i wanted to make one for a costume, but i have no idea what to google!
